The move is complete and West Virginia University is officially headed to the Big 12 Conference. This is fantastic news for our school and our state.
We now have the opportunity to compete in one of the country's premier athletic conferences and I think we all know what happen when we get a chance to shine on the national stage.
I've said it before, but School President and Athletic Director Oliver Luck have shown leadership, vision and, perhaps most importantly, resolve.
Rather than bury their heads in the sand, they embraced the challenge and now we can all say Let's Go Mountaineers.
