Harrison County is moving forward with plans to build a new 911 Center.
Director Paul Bump told the county commission yesterday that his committee prefers the engineering and architecture firm WYK which is based in Harrison County.
Bump said the firm has expertise in building 911 centers.
The new center will have top notch security features and more space for a growing staff.
Bump said he hopes the building will be finished by mid 2014.
