The Adaland Mansion in Barbour County opened its doors on Saturday to serve guests Royal Tea.
The Mansion welcomed 16 guests for a tradition that was popular when the mansion was built.
"Sixteen guests who will be with us for Royal Tea. Following the English tradition we have a scrumptious selection of foods. As with all teas, we begin with scones and we have homemade scones, and jams and lemon curd," said Karen Larry, Adaland Mansion.
Visitors to the mansion are also given a short history of the tradition and lessons on "proper technique" for drinking and serving tea.
Each guest is also given a handmade signature "Adaland" chocolate.
