West Virginia may soon find its place on the big screen but first, the producers of the film need your help.
Writer and producer JT Arbogast is making "Angel's Perch," and hopes to film it in Cass, West Virginia.
It's about a man who returns to his hometown, when his grandmother gets Alzheimer's and can no longer live alone.
Arbogast is making the film with the Alzheimer's Association, and needs your help to raise the funds.
He said he plans to hire local businesses and actors for filming.
"It's a project we hope not only will be a love letter to WV but will also have a lasting effect in helping the Alzheimers Association to raise awareness about their services and get people involved in trying to bring an end to it," Arbogast said.
You can text ANGELS to 85944 to donate. He said any amount of money, even just $5 or $10 dollars, can help ensure the film gets made.
Officials said all the donations will go directly toward the filming of the movie and are 100% tax deductible, with 5% being donated to the W.Va. Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
