An autism resource center in Elkins is working hard to stay open.

The Expression of Colors Autism Resource Center in Elkins said it needs $50,000 by March first.

The center is running several fundraisers to meet the goal.

One of the projects is a puzzle piece sale.

"Purchase a puzzle piece, one for a one dollar, five dollar or 10 dollar, and your name will be placed on it and placed at the vendor's site or here at the Autism Center," said Katherine Davis, of Expression of Colors. "It is a way of showing support to the Autism community."

The center is still looking for vendors to sponsor the project.
