Webster County High School held an awards day on Wednesday. Scholarships totaling over $500,000 were given to seniors for colleges and universities throughout West Virginia. Seven Promise Scholarships
Webster County High School held an awards day on Wednesday.
The Fairmont Fire Department responded to a fire just before 10 p.m. Tuesday at 1108 Lowell Street.
Officials said the fire started in the bedroom and spread throughout the house.
The house was a rental property that students lived in, although no one was home at the time of fire.
Officials said there were no injuries and they do not believe the fire is suspicious.
The Fairmont Fire Department and the Marion County Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
