The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department has arrested and charged a Morgantown man with felony fleeing in a vehicle.
Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a report of a stolen car in the Kroger parking lot at the Suncrest Towne Centre.
A deputy spotted a maroon Mercury Mountaineer leaving the Towne Centre and attempted to stop it.
The driver fled in the vehicle until it was forced to stop at a dead-end street and the driver fled on foot.
Sean Pavlichko, 25, was found by police and charged with felony fleeing.
Deputies said Pavlichko will face additional charges.
Pavlichko is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
