Some Suncrest Middle School students will join a group from Morgantown High School at the National Science Bowl competition.
The middle schoolers competed against students from 11 other schools in Wheeling.
Now they'll travel to Washington D.C. in April, on an all-expenses paid trip to the finals to compete against teams from across the country.
"Just a very fast paced," said Chris Maloney, of Suncrest Middle School. "They have to buzz in when they're questions are read, before the other team and then they get bonus questions. So its just a very faced paced, academic competition geared to science and math."
Both levels of competition will take place April 26 through the 30.
