The county commission agreed Wednesday morning to take over the Good Hope baseball fields from the county school system.

The Humane Society of Harrison County raises money to support its animals through a thrift shop in Clarksburg.
But that shop needs things to sell and is looking for donations.
Volunteers said they especially need children's clothing, housewares, and collectibles.
"It feeds the animals and helps us get animals off the street," said thrift store volunteer Becky Jarvis. "We get animals from the county pound and get them out to homes."
The thrift shop is located on Milford Street in Clarksburg and is operated by volunteers.
