MORGANTOWN -
Boy and Girl Scouts took over the Morgantown Mall on Saturday for a scout show.
Representatives from troops in Monongalia and Preston Counties were at the mall showing off their scouting skills.
Organizers say these events are good for recruiting, but Mountaineer Area Council Scout Executive Daniel Wagner said they also do much more.
"It gives our young men and women an opportunity to build leadership skills as they talk to the public and explain to them what they are doing," said Wagner.
Scouts demonstrated everything from robotics, to knot tying and lashing.
Another show will be held next weekend at the Middletown Mall in Fairmont.
