MORGANTOWN -

The Morgantown Police Department is investigating an overnight armed robbery that took place on alley "D" in the Sunnyside area Sunday morning.

A victim reported two males approached him in the alley, pointed a gun at him and demanded money around 4:15 a.m., according to a news release from the Morgantown Police Department.

The victim described the two suspects as both being African American, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 5 feet 6 inches tall and ranging between 135 to 150 pounds in weight.

The victim was unharmed during the robbery and both suspects fled the scene on foot, police said.
