A Harrison County woman is in the North Central Regional Jail. She is accused of letting her husband sexually assault her two daughters.
The Harrison County Sheriff's Department arrested Crystal Corriveau and charged her with five counts of child neglect resulting in injury Wednesday.
It said Corriveau allowed her daughters be sexually assaulted by her husband, their stepfather, between 2008 and 2012.
Both her daughters recounted forced sexual encounters with Michael Corriveau to the investigating officer, as detailed in the criminal complaint. The criminal complaint also alleges that when an aunt told Crystal Corriveau about the instances, she said she was not concerned.
Corriveau's bail is set at $500,000.
