An electrical fire destroyed a home in Harrison County Tuesday night. The Harrison County 911 Center said it started just after 12:15 a.m. on Locust Street in Salem. It said the fire appears to be suspicious.

Morgantown Police arrested a man previously convicted of murder early Saturday morning.
Around 2:15 a.m. police made a routine traffic stop on Monongahela Blvd., near the Coliseum, of a vehicle driven by Glenn Brown. It was then discovered that the 33-year-old was wanted in San Diego County, CA, for a weapon offence and was considered armed and dangerous.
Without incident, police were able to detain Brown, who told police he had a handgun in his vehicle.
Police also found what they believe to be cocaine, and $240 in cash.
Brown was charged by police for Possession With Intent to Deliver, as well as one felony count of Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon.
In 1997, Brown was charged with First Degree Murder in Norwalk, CA, and released on parole in 2003. Brown was also convicted of carrying a concealed firearm in 2007.
