The Buckhannon Police Department arrested a man for selling drugs near an elementary school.
Christopher Merriman, 24, of Buckhannon was charged with delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.
The criminal complaint states that Merriman sold marijuana to a confidential informant at the McDonald's parking lot, which is within 1,000 feet across from Academy Elementary School.
