Judge Russell Clawges sentenced a Morgantown man for his involvement in a robbery at an apartment on High Street.

Judge Clawges sentenced Nicholas Conques to five years of probation, which is to be spent in Monongalia County.

In July 2011, Nicholas Busick and Nicholas Conques conspired to rob a man at an apartment on High Street.

Conques must also pay restitution to the victim, attend alcohol and substance abuse rehabilitation, he is not allowed to leave West Virginia and he must obtain verifiable employment.

Conques told Judge Clawges he was "scared straight" during the month and a half he spent in jail.

Judge Clawges inquired why Conques has failed all of his drug tests since his release from jail.
