Cheat Lake -
The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department is investigating a series of vehicle larcenies.
Between Friday night and Saturday morning, police report 8 vehicle larcenies took place in the Cheat Lake area.
The Sheriff's Department said the areas of Harewood and Brandywine Estates were hit the most, and said that most of the vehicles appeared to have been left unlocked and outdoors.
At this time the Sheriff's Department has no suspects and said it's investigation is ongoing.
