The Morgantown Police Department has charged two people with Malicious Burning following a series of rubbish and dumpster fires.

Friday night, police responded to several burnings within city limits leading to the two arrests.

The city has had issues in the past with Malicious Burnings. Saint Patrick's Day weekend, Firefighters fought more than 30 fires.
