The 911 center may be waiting on its new facility, but its new addressing website has already launched.

Director Paul Bump said the new website has gotten a lot of use by residents, officials, emergency responders and anyone else who needs to check Harrison County addresses.

He said the website recently got the added capability to actually search for an address.

"We're also doing photography on a regular basis," Bump said. "We just received the 2012 photography which is being reviewed right now. The commission has indicated it wants to keep fresh with that because it's being used so often and in so many ways."

Bump said the 911 center is using the website to update maps it will give to first responders in the coming weeks.
