Drs. Lisa Wood and Patti Malone met in medical school at WVU. Besides being avid Mountaineer fans, they also found their way of practicing medicine was very similar. Both caring and efficient, they decided to form a practice that provides these qualities to patients in the Morgantown area in 2006.
As their practice grew, they added Dr. Raine Lambert in 2008 to their staff.
2011 proved to be an exciting year for Patti and Lisa. They added an additional pediatrician to their practice, Dr. Nalini Casey. Finding that their patients wanted a more diverse offering, they then added 2 Pediatric Nurse Practioners, Shariane Rankin and Pinar Nalcakan. They also opened up 2 new offices in Cheat Lake and Suncrest, having outgrown their Burrough's street location. They hope this allows their patients an office closer to home, while allowing them more choices in providers.
2012 hasn't slowed them down. They have expanded the Cheat Lake clinic offerings to include evening hours and a walk in clinic for any acute condition. Suncrest has also expanded their office hours to include a walk in acute clinic on Saturdays.
Patti and Lisa are very excited to have a practice in the community they love where they can watch their patients grow from infancy through adolescence. They work hard to maintain a very intimate relationship with their patients, by same day sick visits and nurse calls returned within the day. They strive to make Cardinal kids happy to goto the doctor as they are happy to see their 'kids'.
