CLARKSBURG -

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department has arrested a man on robbery and conspiracy charges.

Matthew Zroske, 26, faces two felony counts of robbery and two felony counts of conspiracy.

Zroske was picked up Friday night around 11 p.m. at the Meadow View Apartments.

Sheriff deputies said they received a tip he was hiding in a bathroom at one of the apartments.

Zroske and two other men, J.D. Jones and Davey Jones attempted to rob another man who was at Zroske's residence, officials said.

A fight ensued, and gunshots were fired at the victim and his vehicle as he fled the scene.

Zroske is in the North Central Regional Jail with bail set at $130,000.
