Gilmer County Sheriff's Department Arrest Tanner Man on Wanton Endangerment Charges

The Gilmer County Sheriff's Department has arrested a Tanner man after he fired a gun at TalliesDuck bar in Normantown, according to a criminal complaint document.

David Curry, 49, was arrested and charged with three counts of wanton endangerment, carrying a concealed weapon without a license, DUI, brandishing a weapon and driving on a suspended license, according to the Gilmer County Sheriff's Department.

A Gilmer County Sheriff's deputy responded to a gunshot complaint and saw a man driving a yellow ATV. The driver of the ATV was identified as David Curry. Curry admitted that he had been drinking and had approximately "two or three six packs of beer that night", according to the criminal complaint.

Curry is being held in the Central Regional Jail.
