MORGANTOWN -

Sunday was the final day for the Morgantown Hoop Fest at University High School.

The three-day AAU basketball tournament offered championship games for the 15, 16 and 17 year old age groups.

Among the several teams playing on Championship Sunday were the NBDC Rampage, an AAU squad from right here in North Central West Virginia.

Some of the players on that team were recognizable. University forward Travis Tomer was in action, as well as Bridgeport point guard Tyler Sprouse.

Tournament director Robert Engemann said he fully expects the Hoop Fest to continue to bring some of the top names in high school basketball to Morgantown.

"So there's some guys here," Hoop Fest director Robert Engemann said. "We're going to continue to build on this and as long as the talent is here, Morgantown is a great spot to run an event. We're going to try to capitalize off this and grow every year from here on out."
