FAIRMONT -

The Glenville State Pioneers have quite the year ahead of them as 25 seniors have graduated, including all eight wide receivers from last year's squad.

Although Glenville has lost several key players, they still have some big names coming back.

Head coach David Hutchison says a variety of NFL scouts have been in and out of his office. Largely because of the dominance between defensive end James Washington and left tackle Mark Jackson.

But Coach Hutchison said they've recruited well enough to make up for the lost players.

"It's never happened in my career where you lose your top eight wide receivers all to graduation," Glenville State head coach David Hutcison said. "So there's not many guys besides running backs that have even caught passes on our roster. But we've done a good job during spring ball of developing some young guys and also with recruiting, bringing in some transfers and stuff."
