
Steve Custis will continue his basketball career at the next level.
The former Fairmont State standout recently signed a contract with a team in the Austrian Basketball League. Custis will play professionally in Europe for the Dornbirn Lions.
The Maryland native had a great four-year career at FSU. In his time as a Falcon, Custis scored nearly 1,700 points. In his senior season, Custis broke the school record for steals and eventually finished with 195 steals at Fairmont. The guard was All-WVIAC each year he was a Falcon and in his final year Custis was named Second Team All-WVIAC. He was also an All-Atlantic Region pick.
In the 2011-2012 season, Custis averaged 21.8 points per game.
