Heading in Thursday's fourth and final round of the 2012 West Virginia Amateur Golf Championship, two North Central West Virginia players were involved in a three-way tie for first place. 

Buckhannon's Jeremy Rogers and Bridgeport's Jay Woodward tried to stay in the hunt for the title. Unfortunately, both fell short. 

Huntington's Pat Carter was Thursday's winner at The Greenbrier. The win marked Carter's 13th Amateur Championship. Carter receives a special exemption in the 2012 Greenbrier Classic.
