BUCKHANNON -

WVIAC football teams continue to prepare for the upcoming season.

Friday afternoon West Virginia Wesleyan held media day.

The team took pictures and met with the media.

Transfer quarterback Nate Montana, son of legend Joe Montana, and new coach and former Steeler Willie Parker spoke with local media.

The Bobcats started 2011 off with nine straight wins before losing the final two games.

Head Coach Jonas Jackson said 2011 is in the rear view mirror and the team is focused on 2012.

"I don't think we need to teach too many lessons on what happened last year," said Coach Jackson. "Last year is last year, it's in the past and we just have to focus on the team we have now, and be 1-0 every week."

Wesleyan opens up its season Sept. 1 against Millersville. The Bobcats' home opener is Sept. 8 against Bentley.
