It may not seem like changing one word in a school's name is a big deal, but there's a lot that still needs to be done for Alderson-Broaddus College to change its name to Alderson Broaddus University.

MONONGAH -
Classic Cars, muscle cars and new cars were the prefect way to bid farewell to this year's Monongah Fest.
For the first time, the car show concluded the annual festival. Organizers said the Monongah Fest Car Show has grown each year.
The idea for the event also was a tribute to an organizers close friend and relative.
"My cousin of mine who was 49 years old, he and I were really big car guys and we had a Camero and Mustang and he passed away at 49 and I thought it would be nice to have this in honor of his memory as well. Every time I see the cars in Monongah that are classic cars I'd say, we should have something like that to honor the people here who have classic cars," organizer Greg Patrick said.
Proceeds from the show went to the Brogan Raddish Scholarship Fund.
Fairmont High student Kelly Horton started the fund in memory of Brogan Raddish, who died from cancer at age 14.
The fund raised more than $1,000 during the Monongah Fest.
