FAIRMONT -

Incoming Fairmont State students gathered for brunch Sunday morning.

The university welcomed its new students with a Welcome Weekend Brunch at the Falcon Center. The event was part of the university's welcoming activities called "The Journey Begins."

While some students were nervous to be back in class, others said they couldn't wait for classes to begin.

"I'm excited. This is my last year. I am graduating in May with psychology and I'm excited about it, some students aren't and they have a lot longer to go than I do and I absolutely love Fairmont," student Michael White said.
