The leftovers of Hurricane Issac could play a small role for the Friends of Coal Bowl.  Moisture will gradually increase over the region as we get into Saturday.  This will pose a threat for at least some spotty showers through out the afternoon.  Below is the GFS model for Saturday afternoon/evening.  The gray and light green area over WV showing that rain totals are minor for Saturday afternoon, less than a .10 of a inch.  The brighter reds, greens and yellows indicating heavier rain, which remains west during the afternoon.







The Euro model for the same time frame indicating similar amounts...





Finally, the NAM model also showing some precipitation possibilities for Saturday afternoon.





The blue areas showing drier air, with the green representing more humid air, a result of the moisture increase...this means a bit muggy for the game.






Our in house weather model indicating some light wind for the game, less than 10 MPH from the west.






Bottom line at this time, clouds moving in during the morning, early afternoon with some scattered showers developing as the day wears on...muggy with temperatures in the upper 70s at kickoff, trying to reach the lower 80s and the beginning of the second half.  Take the poncho to be on the safe side, although a heavy, steady rain is not expected during the game.
