We're all still in shock about the death of West Virginia State Police Trooper Marshall Bailey and the injuries sustained by Trooper Eric Workman.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of those affected by this tragedy. As we come to terms with this heartbreaking, senseless incident, I hope we can all take a moment to reflect on the job that our policemen and women do every day.
It's difficult, dangerous, thankless work and every time an officer reports for duty, they are putting their lives at risk to protect us.
