The search continues for Skylar Neese, 16, who went missing from Star City in July.

The Star City Police confirmed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is assisting them in the search for Skylar Neese but said that is nothing new.

Star City Police Chief Vic Propst said the FBI has been working with them for several weeks.

Neese was last seen July 6 on surveillance video at her home at the James Place Apartments in Star City.

Police said they continue to follow up on leads for the missing 16-year-old.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Neese you can contact Star City Police by calling them at 304-599-3550.
