The Harrison County Sheriff's Department has arrested a Sun Valley woman and charged her with malicious wounding.

Jessica Mccoy, 37, stabbed her husband, Christopher Mccoy, 37 just after 10 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Harrison County Sheriff's Department. He was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital with a stab wound to his lower back, according to Sheriff Albert Marano.

The pair may have been estranged; Marano wasn't clear on their relationship status.

Christopher Mccoy has been treated and released at Ruby Memorial Hospital, according to hospital officials.

Jessica Mccoy is being held in North Central Regional Jail.

The Reynoldsville Fire Department also responded to the incident.
