A judge has continued the case of a Lewis County woman accused of allowing her son to be killed until February.
Angela Burkhart will now go to trial on February 14.
The police have charged Burkhart with 36 counts of fraudulent use of an access device, four counts of welfare fraud, and one count of death of an incapacitated adult by a caregiver.
Her son Cory had Down syndrome.
The police said he died in a struggle with Burkhart's boyfriend, Gary Wiant.
Wiant faces a charge of second degree murder.
