Emergency crews responded to a single car accident in Monongalia County Saturday.

A Honda Fit collided with the median just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday, on Interstate 79 at around mile marker 147.

The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department said one person was transported to a local hospital.

There is no word on the condition of that person at this time or how the accident happened.
