
West Virginia Wesleyan junior Korin Wengryn has been named the WVIAC Volley Player of the Week.
The middle blocker helped Wesleyan to a victory in its only match last week.
The Pennsylvania native had 19 kills in the win over Concord, earning a .375 attack percentage.
Wengryn has recorded give blocks in the match, two solo.
Against Concord she averaged 1.25 blocks per set and 4.75 kills.
The win over the WVIAC foe gave Wesleyan a victory for its first conference game of the season.
Fairmont State's Amber Wilson was named as another top performer.
