Tractor-Trailer Accident Blocks Traffic on Holland Avenue in Westover

Traffic along Holland Avenue in Westover was blocked Tuesday morning following an accident involving a log-carrying tractor-trailer.

The accident happened around 8 a.m., when a tractor-trailer carrying logs spilled its load along the roadway after making a sharp turn, officials said.

Police said no one was hurt but that they had to shut down Holland Avenue from West Park Avenue to the Westover Bridge in order to reload the truck.

As of 11:30 a.m., Holland Avenue remained closed.

Westover Police are investigating the incident.
