A Winter Botany walk will be held December 2 at the West Virginia Botanic Garden in Morgantown.
The walk will start at 2 p.m.
W.Va. Botanic Garden executive director, George Longenecker, will explain how to recognize trees, shrubs and ground covers in the winter by mean of leaf scars, bud scales, twig and bark characteristics, and more.
Participants should bring a hand lens if they own one. The walk will start in the lower parking area.
