The Marion County Sheriff's Department arrested a Fairmont man and charged him with nighttime burglary and kidnapping charges Tuesday, September 18.

Sheriff's deputies arrested Timothy Biggs, 31, after he broke into a man's house last week and threatened him with a knife.

Biggs forced the victim to drive him to several locations before leaving him and threatening to come back and shoot him, according to deputies.

The knife used in the incident was found at Biggs' house which is what led to his arrest.

Biggs has requested a preliminary hearing and bond will be set by circuit court.

Biggs is currently at the North Central Regional Jail.
