Law Enforcement Continues to Investigate Tips In Aliayah Lunsford's Disappearance

Posted: Updated:

Monday, September 24 marked one year since now 4-year-old Aliayah Lunsford, a Bendale, Lewis County resident, disappeared.

The FBI and the West Virginia State Police continue to receive information and follow through investigating tips, although the tips haven't been able to help investigators get across the finish line and determine what happened to Lunsford, said FBI Special Agent John Hambrick on Wednesday.

The FBI has a working theory of what happened and it continues to pursue that theory, said Hambrick, although investigators have not seen any major advancements in the case in the last sixty days.

The FBI is still offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
