An on again, off again indoor soccer project at Jackson's Mill is apparently on again.

Friends of Youth Soccer sent a representative to Monday's Lewis County Commission meeting.

The group said it will buy the turf for the new soccer field within the next few weeks and that the project will benefit more than just Lewis County.

"We're looking to get a lot of support from the Mountain State Soccer Club, that's in the Bridgeport and Clarksburg, area," said J.R. Dodson, of Friends of Youth Soccer. "We're looking for Buckhannon people, Upshur County people, it'll be open to anybody."

The group said it needs to raise $8,000 to finish the first phase of the project.

It hopes to have the field ready to play on next month.
