The sports world is still buzzing about West Virginia University's record-setting win, but we need to make sure that we tip our hat to Athletic Director Oliver Luck and School President Jim Clements.

It may be tough to recall now, but it was about this time last year that the future of our athletic program was in serious doubt.

Luck and Clements showed leadership, conviction and dedication and have ushered WVU into big-time college football.
