Clarksburg Woman Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges

A Clarksburg resident pleaded guilty Wednesday, September 26, before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull in the U.S. District Court in Clarksburg, according to a news release from the office of the U.S. Attorney Northern District of West Virginia.

Kristin Davis, 38, pleaded guilty to distribution of crack cocaine within 1,000 feet of St. Mary's Grade School on July 1, 2011 in Clarksburg, officials said.

Davis is out on bond pending sentencing and faces at least one and up to 40 years in prison and a $2 million fine, according to the news release.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Shawn A. Morgan and was investigated by the Harrison County Task Force consisting of officers from the Clarksburg Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff's Department and the Bridgeport Police Department.
