Some Randolph County residents may experience a few hours without power on Monday, October 8.

Mon Power said it will interrupt electric service in parts of the county from 8 a.m. to noon to complete upgrade projects.

The following areas will be affected:

  • Town of Mill Creek
  • Adolph Road to Blue Rock
  • Town of Huttonsville
  • US Route 250 South to base of Cheat Mountain
  • US Route 219 South to Elk Water Fork
  • Valley Bend to just south of Dailey
  • Back Road
  • Shavers Run Road

The outage will affect about 1,900 customers.
