Local MVB Banks Participating in 'Change Bandits' Program

Posted: Updated:

"Change Bandits" is a program that takes your spare change and donates it to a good cause.

MVB Bank has partnered up with WVAQ to promote and distribute "Change Bandit" bags.

All of the proceeds will go to the WVU Children's Hospital.

MVB Bank will match the total amount of change collected.

Four banks in Monongalia, Marion, and Harrison Counties will be collecting change.

"It's a statewide hospital and it helps children all over West Virginia," said Lauren Boczek, of MVB Bank Mortgage Sales. "With us having banks in the Eastern Panhandle as well as in Bridgeport or Fairmont, it's something that all of our branches can come together to participate in."

Each bag has instructions for collecting change, registering team participation, and delivering the bags to MVB Bank.

The Change Drive runs through November 9.
