An electrical fire destroyed a home in Harrison County Tuesday night. The Harrison County 911 Center said it started just after 12:15 a.m. on Locust Street in Salem. It said the fire appears to be suspicious.

Several fire departments responded to a report of a structure fire in Harrison County Thursday.
The fire started at Odells Knob Road just before 6:30 a.m. near Wyatt.
The father of the homeowner said the homeowner got home around 4 a.m. and parked her car in front of the house. Her husband came home shortly after and tried to move her car. The car then burst into flames.
The woman's brother tried to put out the fire but the gas tank caught fire and exploded, sending flames into the house, according to the homeowner's father.
Everyone in the home escaped and no one was injured, the homeowner's father said.
Fire departments from Shinnston, Spelter, Lumberport and Worthington responded to the scene, according to Harrison County 911.
