MARION COUNTY -

Heston Farm Winery held "An Evening With Wine and Song" Thursday evening in Fairmont.

The United Way and Marion County Chamber of Commerce partnered together to raise money for this year's campaign, which is themed "Warm Up Marion County."

Patrons gave a $10 donation at the door and enjoyed Hors D'oeuvres, wine tasting, and music by Vocal Tapestry.

The night also included a farewell reception for Andy Kniceley, campaign co-chair from 2010-2011.

Marion County Commission donated $5,500 to the United Way's initiative.

"Our goal is $455,000, and that goes to support 21 local Marion County agencies," said Tiffany Walker Samuels, executive director of United Way.
