Authorities are investigating a rollover accident Thursday evening in Fairview.
The accident happened around 7:45 p.m. on Daybrook Road.
The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department said the driver came around the bend too quickly when his car flipped several times.
Then, the driver fled from the scene.
Authorities from both Monongalia and Marion Counties were dispatched when witnesses said the suspect was carrying a weapon, but that is still unconfirmed.
The sheriff's department is still looking for the driver.
