Krista joined the WBOY team in September 2012 as a General Assignment and Weekend Reporter. She graduated from the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University in December 2012. Krista was the main anchor and crime beat reporter for the award-winning WVU News.

She is a Pittsburgh native and loves the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.

    The Student Success Summit always lacked one thing, students. In it's fourth year. organizers decided to add that element with a Leadership Academy."We have 33 students from five high schools across the state," said Adam Green, from the West Virginia High Education Policy Commission. "They participated in a two day leadership academy to develop them as HEROs."

    Several law enforcement agencies from both Pennsylvania and West Virginia went to Mt. Morris, PA to show their support for an Interchange dedicated in Sgt.
