A Harrison County Delegate has expressed interest in becoming the next speaker for the West Virginia House of Delegates.
The city of Clarksburg is looking for the next great business idea.
Entrepreneurs are welcomed to an "Entrepreneur's Café" Wednesday, October 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Senior Center.
New ideas can be pitched and attendees will vote for the best one.
The winning pitch will receive a cash prize from Vision Shared, Inc. Clarksburg officials hope bringing entrepreneurs together will spark more ideas.
"It's a great opportunity for these potential entrepreneurs to get out to network with the different individuals within the business community to be able to present their ideas and also be able to gain support for their ideas," said Martin Howe, Clarksburg City Manager.
Cost of admission is 15 dollars and includes a meal and the chance to vote for the best pitch. For more information, click here.
