Monday afternoon West Virginia University President Jim Clements addressed this weekend's fires as part of the annual State of the University address.
Clements also spoke Monday on more positive notes surrounding the university including record breaking enrollment, the schools 2020's strategic plan and impact the Big 12 has on the school academically and athletically.
This year the school celebrated 150 years since the Morrill Land Grant Act was passed, giving way to the founding of WVU.
